Car rentals six per cent cheaper
The Europcar company continues to be the car rental partner of the Swiss Federation and therefore also of ETH Zurich. Its bid in the Federation’s call for tenders has been accepted. Now, members of ETH can pay an average of six per cent less for rentals.
Another change is that car rental customers no longer have to pay the additional implant fee of CHF 23 per rental day. For business rentals, this fee is now covered by the ETH through a new internal regulation.
Europcar has had a rental location on the H?nggerberg campus of ETH Zurich for three years. The vehicles can be picked up on the H?nggerberg as well as at the ETH Zentrum.
The rental cars can be booked online or directly at the rental location. If you use a rental car for business purposes, you can pay with the Europcar card. Budget owners from the various ETH units can order this card via the ETHIS information and support system. The Europcar card is attributed to a fund through which the rental costs are covered automatically.
